YANGON CITY TOUR

The program starts at 9:00 am.
• Sule Pagoda
– Located right in the center of the old city of Yangon and it is the landmark of the city.
Downtown Area
– The country had been in the British colonial rule and some colonial buildings can still be seen in the downtown area.
• Bogyoke Aung San Market – It has more than 2000 shops and the largest selection of Myanmar handicrafts and souvenirs. Bogyoke Aung San Market is one of the best places for shopping.
• Shwedagon Pagoda – Visible from almost anywhere in Yangon, Shwedagon is the unique pagoda. If you have never been to Shwedagon, you have never been to Myanmar!
The program is finished at about 7:00 pm.

THANLYIN – KYAUKTAN ONE DAY TRIP

The program starts at 9:00 am.
• Thanlyin Market
– In the lively market, goods for everyday needs are mainly sold.
Kyaikkhauk Pagoda
– On a hill a few kilometers outside the town, the golden stupa is widely visible across the flat country.
• Yele Phaya – The temple, which was built on a small island in the Hmaw Wun river, is a popular place of pilgrimage for the local people.
Arrive back in Yangon in the evening and the program is finished.

Twante

TWANTE ONE DAY TRIP

The program starts at 9:00 am.
• Central Market
– In addition to daily needs, the own products of the town such as pottery, incense sticks and bamboo mats are sold here.
Pottery Village
– Twante is a typical town which is known for pottery industry since ancient times, and the earthen pots are still widely used in the villages in the delta region.
• Shwesandaw Pagoda – It is the most significant pagoda in the town and, according to ancient tradition, contains two hairs of the Buddha.
Arrive back in Yangon in the evening and the program is finished.




Bago

BAGO ONE DAY TRIP

The program starts at 8:00 am.
• Kyakhatwine Monastery
– Around 11:00 a.m., the monks come in line from their buildings to a large hall to eat the last meals of the day.
Shwemawdaw Pagoda
– It is located in the middle of the city and is one of the most significant and liveliest sanctuary in Bago.
• Kanbawzathadi Palace – The very richly decorated golden palace gives a good impression of the magnificence and wealth of the Second Myanmar Empire.
• Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha Image – This gigantic reclining Buddha image was built in the 10th century. Following the destruction of Bago in 1757, it was overgrown by jungle and rediscovered it in 1884 while building the Yangon-Bago railway line.
• Kyaikpun Temple – Four sitting Buddha Images placed back to back around a huge, square pillar, about one and a half kilometer south of Bago.
Arrive back in Yangon in the evening and the program is finished.

BaGO – KYAIKHTIYO TWO-DAY TRIP

Day 01: Yangon >> Bago + Kyaikhtiyo (by car)
The guide will pick you up at 8:00 am.
• Central Market
– In the lively market between the main street and the river, goods for everyday needs are sold.
Kyakhatwine Monastery
– Around 11:00 a.m., the monks come in line from their buildings to a large hall to eat the last meals of the day.
• Shwemawdaw Pagoda – It is located in the middle of the city and is one of the most significant and liveliest sanctuary in Bago.
• Going up the Mountain by mountain-climbing-Truck – Going up the mountain by special mountain climbing truck for half an hour.
• Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) – Kyaikhtiyo means the pagoda that stands on the head of a hermit. It stands on a boulder that seems to be defying the force of gravity as it hangs from the spur of a cliff.
Overnight at your hotel on the Mt. Kyakihtiyo.


Day 02: Kyaikhtiyo >> Bago + Yangon (by car)
The guide will pick you up at 8:00 am.
